Pardon the dust! We’re still getting everything set up.
Art House Productions creates high-quality, non-gimmicky, talent-focused, and completely ethical adult entertainment for direct sales via website, licensing to websites and magazines, and for publication through third party ad-supported outlets.
Our Values
- We follow the APAC Performer Bill of Rights and The Free Speech Coalition’s Code of Ethics.
- We include a 48-hour cooling-off period in all of our talent agreements.
- We do not allow talent to work without a negative test panel. Ordinarily, we require results from a PASS-certified testing company performed within 14 days of the shoot. If there are no PASS-certified draw centers within 50 miles of the shoot location, we will allow the use of negative results from TTS or a medical provider if all of the on-set talent consents to it.
- We take extreme care to ensure all participants have given active and informed consent free of duress.
- We do both formal background checks and informal checks with industry connections and refuse to work with anyone who we feel potentially endangers the safety or comfort of the other performers and crew, no matter how well-known or successful.
- We offer equity and ownership opportunities for select crew and talent.
- We refuse to work with any individual who has been credibly accused of abuse, harassment, assault, of failing to respect boundaries, or who has been convicted of any violent or sex-related crime.
- We refuse to work with any agency who continues to represent talent after learning they’ve been convicted or credibly accused of any sex-related or violent crime, or that continues to represent talent after learning they’ve been credibly accused of any form of consent violation, whether it occurred on-set or not.
- We offer a partial stipend for and, when needed, an advance toward talent testing.
- We provide creative and other behind-the-camera opportunities for talent we’ve worked with who are interested in taking a role in producing scenes, including offering opportunities to write and direct scenes.
- For shoots with new talent (and with all shoots, budget permitting), we place an independent talent advocate on set who is empowered to stop the production if they witness any signs of distress, discomfort, or conflict.
- We provide a path for new talent to safely enter the adult industry without experiencing abuse or predatory behavior, by way of our New Talent Program.
- We unequivocally support the rights of all workers—including adult talent and other sex workers—to form a union, guild, or other collective bargaining entity.
- We have a strict non-retaliation policy. We will take no action to harm the reputation or standing of anyone who chooses to exercise their First Amendment right to expose abusive or problematic behavior in the industry, even if it happened on one of our sets.
